Colophon
Every page here starts as a Markdown file and is turned into HTML by a hundred or so lines of Python living in the same repository. No framework, no configuration, no build pipeline — there is nothing here that needs one.
The type is whichever serif your computer already had, and whichever monospace it uses for code. Nothing is downloaded that a browser from 1998 wouldn’t recognise: some HTML, one stylesheet, a small icon. There is no JavaScript, nothing counting you, and nothing left in your browser when you leave. A page here weighs about as much as the words on it.
It all runs on a server I look after myself, which is more or less the point of the name.
The code is on my own git server, if you want to see how the page you are reading was made.
